Amsterdam residents think that tourism is solely concentrated in the central district when in fact 7 out of 10 of Airbnb bookings are in the outer boroughs.

To increase popularity and positive awareness of Airbnb with the residents of Amsterdam, we create a local currency that Airbnb guests can only use in shops and businesses situated in the outer boroughs. This would ensure that money stays in the outer areas, and doesn't just get spent in the central district.
